Jayne is a twenty-year advocate for people with dyslexia, serving in leadership roles for programs she has developed on her own, and volunteering for many other organizations. Jayne is an environmental advocate and the proud Ambassador of Washed Ashore - Art to Save the Sea.

 A non-profit with a global mission of saving oceans and waterways from plastic marine debris by making Art to Save the Sea.


  • Creative Kids Rock

    • Founded this organization and serves as President

    • Has held over 250 events for children and families providing free art classes with a focus on upcycling and creativity to benefit our environment

  • The Mobile Artist

    • Co-Founder and serves as Community Outreach Coordinator and teacher at the Art Garage

    • Raised thousands of dollars to provide over 1,500 art projects to underserved children and families

  • Creative Moms

    • In partnership with the Howe Community Resource Center, teaches free art classes in her community

  • Champions program through KinderCare

    • Lead Teacher for K-2nd grade using innovative curriculum that focuses on teaching recycling to children

  • Art for a Cause

    • Teaches virtual classes focusing on teaching children the importance of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle with a powerful twist - how to turn trash into art

  • River Cleanups

    • River Warrior and Team Lead – organizing river shoreline cleanups

    • Teach art classes, using the collected trash for art projects

  • Alliance for the Great Lakes

    • Team Lead organizing cleanups for an adopted beach on a bay of Lake Michigan


In addition to the above, Jayne has volunteered for over 40 different organizations on a state, national, and international basis. Despite her dyslexia Jayne is a published author and writer for several magazines and blogs including Forbes Women, Creative Child Magazine, and Mom's Every Day.


Awards & Media

  • Jayne has been interviewed on the local TV and radio news programs many times - 6 times just in the last year!

  • Awarded the Seeds of Hope Award for her work during the Pandemic to reach the community with the arts.

  • Chosen from the women in her state to receive a scholarship to attend the Wisconsin Women's Policy Institute because of her volunteer work in her state.

  • Awarded the community service award for the month from the Volunteer Center of Brown County

  • Co-host of Dyslexia Jewels Podcast, interviewing people from all over the world

  • Host of Art for a Cause Podcast
